Quality manager

On behalf of a client operating in the industrial sector in Berrechid, we are looking for a Quality Manager for a 3-month assignment with the possibility of continuing with them for the duration of the project if he is satisfactory.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Essential Requirements: Mechanical Engineering Graduate with 10 years of experience in
  Welding & Fabrication industry or Boiler manufacturing company or Railway product manufacturing company or heavy earthmoving equipment manufacturing background.
• Preferably a Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 standards

Responsibilities

• To ensure overall customer satisfaction with regard to product quality
• Complete quality assurance requirements of Operations (NCRs, LRs, Customers derogations), scheduling and assigning employees; follow-up on work results. Implementing and maintaining a Quality Risk Management system to ensure that risks are adequately controlled in accordance with current requirement
• Ensure adherence to quality and reliability standards and halt production if critical quality requirements are not met
• Handling pre-dispatch inspection of finished products within pre-defined timelines
• Handling inspection of incoming material within pre-defined timelines
• Preparation and revision of quality policies from time to time and maintain product quality by enforcing quality assurance policy, procedures and standards
• Analyse product and process quality reports; observing the trends for remedial actions if necessary.
• Upgradation of vendor quality on a continual basis.
• Handling customer complaints and resolving the same in a time bound manner and keeping data base of customer complaints.
• Handling a team of Quality Engineers and Inspectors
• Facilitate customer and external audits
• Responsible for maintaining record of Quality reports
• Handling ISO 9001 Quality Management System
• Establish and review environment, health and safety procedures for the company and documentation of the same within predefined timelines
• Conduct periodic process & system audits
