As part of missions and objectives of direction Propulsion Subsystem, the Function Tester Leader (SFTL) is in charge of :

• Providing to powertrain project the technical repository to allow integration's verification, configuration and tuning method by EE calibration and EE requirement's validation of Electronic Control Module (ECM) of its function.

• Bringing the technical expertise on its function to PSPV in technical analyze on ECM, support and training of PSPV teams.

What you'll do:

• Provide powertrain projects with a reliable technical repository enabling integration verification, configuration, and tuning of Electronic Control Modules (ECM).
• Support ECM function validation and requirement coverage through calibration strategies and test methodologies.
• Analyze technical issues and partner queries related to your function and offer expert resolution.
• Support V&V and tuning activities and review validation reports for quality assurance.
• Define skill requirements and propose training for PSPV and global ECM EE validation teams.
• Contribute to the elaboration of ECM validation plans and ensure proper planning of activities.
• Specify, deliver, and maintain test procedures aligned with project development and validation strategies.
• Review test specifications and optimize test coverage across various PSPV procedures.
• Define and validate HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) bench requirements and functionalities for ECM function deployment.
• Provide ECM teams with EE pre-calibration values and tuning methodologies.
• Drive continuous improvement via Lessons Learned and maintain a robust, optimized technical repository.
• Engage in technical and design reviews to anticipate functional evolutions and ensure integration needs are met.
• Contribute to the definition of Technical Safety Concept (TSC) validation requirements for ISO 26262 compliance.
• Ensure complete mastery of the function across all integration dimensions (Safety, Plant, Aftersales, Network, etc.).

What you will bring:

• Solid technical expertise in electronic systems, preferably in automotive powertrain ECM.
• Proven experience in Verification & Validation (V&V) processes, calibration strategies, and test specification development.
• Ability to lead technical analysis, resolve complex issues, and translate findings into training and process improvements.
• Familiarity with HIL systems and functional validation frameworks.
• Deep understanding of ISO 26262 functional safety standards.
• Strong planning, documentation, and communication skills in a cross-functional, international environment.
• A continuous improvement mindset with a focus on QCDP (Quality, Cost, Delay, Performance).
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in French and English.
