Stellantis's Software Organization (SWX) was established to build the most captivating experiences in the latest frontiers of Automotive Technology. As part of that foundation, we are investing to rapidly grow our capabilities within the field of Automated Driving. We are seeking a Test Strategy and Plan Engineer working for L2-L3 test activities planning.
Test Strategy and Planning is part of Core SW Virtual V&V that is out to realize a consistent Test Strategy for L2+/L3 features between the AD Organization and the internal testing capabilities interacting continuously with the different internal and external stakeholders.
The selected candidate will be immersed in a hands-on role, working with state-of-the-art technologies, in a field experiencing rapid year over year growth. This team and the selected candidates are responsible for developing the validation and verification plans, interacting with software developers, test engineers and test execution teams, as well as all the test stakeholders. The selected candidate will enable Highly Automated Driving functions verification and validation to be performed in a virtual environment. The main scope of the resources is to guarantee that the built strategy can be implemented and is followed by the teams: this must be reached by means of both planning and technical activities.
Profil
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Management Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, Applied Physics, Controls, Electronics, Aerospace or equivalent engineering degree
Minimum of 2-year experience in the field of Test Engineering and/or project management
Basic level knowledge of performing as a verification and validation engineer for Highly Automated Driving as:
- verification and validation plans definition (procedures, timing and resources)
- requirements analysis and deployment
- test cases and test procedures development and optimization
- validation environment setup and scope definition
- testing results analysis and reporting (PPT, Excel)
Ability to contribute to Agile Development Teams
Strong Interpersonal Communication, Team/leadership Skills/experience
Basic Knowledge of Agile Development Framework
Preferred Qualifications
Master of Science in Management Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, Applied Physics, Controls, Electronics, Aerospace or equivalent engineering degree from an ABET accredited university
Demonstrated knowledge of ADAS/Autonomous Driving features and relative electronic architectures
Basic knowledge of test platforms such as Software and Hardware in the Loop
Working level knowledge of tools for Program Management (e.g. MS Project or similar)
Working level knowledge of ALM tools (e.g. IBM Doors, Polarion, Codebeamer)
Proven ability to work in Agile working environments as well as Waterfall frameworks.
Experience with defining system level functional analysis (preferable vehicle EE architectures
Familiarity with system level simulation techniques
Good communication skills, proven ability to realize presentations and management reporting activities
