Context

UNICEF, established in 1946, is dedicated to protecting and promoting the rights, survival, and healthy development of children worldwide, especially in emergencies. In Morocco—a middle-income country at the crossroads of Europe, Africa, and the Middle East—UNICEF recognizes the need to diversify funding and build strategic private sector partnerships to reduce disparities and improve child welfare. With Morocco's growing economy and shifting priorities among member states, UNICEF Morocco is seizing the opportunity to engage corporations and stakeholders in innovative collaborations that combine financial support, responsible business practices, and advocacy for children's rights.

Description of Duties

  • Map and engage key private sector networks and influencers to advance child rights and corporate social responsibility (CSR).
  • Develop and manage high-value partnerships with corporations, foundations, and membership-based organizations for both financial and non-financial collaboration.
  • Conduct capacity-building initiatives, participate in private sector events, and promote child-friendly business practices.
  • Identify and develop new partnership opportunities, analyze market trends, and maintain a prospect list.
  • Prepare tailored engagement strategies, agreements, and pitch materials; manage donor profiles and due diligence.
  • Produce integrated communication materials, update partnership webpages, and create content for UNICEF channels.
  • Monitor and report on partnership agreements, support programme design, and contribute to the new country programme with private sector inclusion.

Profile Requirements

  • Master's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Communication, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in private fundraising, partnerships, CSR, or institutional fundraising; experience in business/private sector and UN/UNICEF systems is an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal, networking, and advisory skills; ability to write quality reports and proposals under pressure.
  • Proven track record in content marketing, stakeholder consultation, and meeting deadlines.
  • Fluent in French and Arabic.
