Main Mission:

Define and oversee the functional architecture of the propulsion system for vehicles, ensuring consistency across functions, system integration, interface robustness, and compliance with product and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop the functional architecture of the propulsion system, including e-motor, battery, charger, VCU, and wiring.
  • Define the main functions (traction, charging, energy management, electrical safety, diagnostics) and their interactions.
  • Write functional specifications and requirement traceability matrices.
  • Ensure consistency between software, hardware, and vehicle constraints.
  • Collaborate with system, software, hardware, validation, and quality teams to ensure solution feasibility and robustness.
  • Participate in functional analyses, FMEA, and design reviews.
  • Contribute to the functional validation strategy and test plans.
  • Stay up to date with technological and regulatory developments related to electric propulsion functions.

Profile Sought:

  • Master's degree (or equivalent) in Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, Vehicle Architecture, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in functional architecture within the field of electric propulsion.
  • Strong knowledge of key components and functions: electric motor, battery, charger, VCU, high-voltage wiring.
  • Ability to model functions and structure requirements effectively.
  • Fluent in English, with strong analytical skills, rigor, and a collaborative mindset.
