Apply now  Learn more: TAX ASSOCIATEWe are looking for a Tax Associate for a positon located in Casablanca and reporting to Tax Manager.The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day tax matters and ensure overall tax compliance in Morocco and other countries within the NWA cluster, while also developing and executing tax strategies and initiatives across the cluster.PositionTax Compliance & FilingManage and review periodic tax filings for all entities within the cluster, in coordination with external advisors, ensuring that reported tax bases reconcile with SAP data.Monitor tax calendars across multiple jurisdictions and ensure monthly update of the tax shared folder.Assist and support in the course of tax audits and other tax related matters.Tax Controls & reportingSupport monthly tax provision checks and tax account reconciliations in cooperation with Finance.Support in the reconciliation of current and deferred tax positions in accordance with IAS 12, and assist with the preparation of the tax package.Business Support & Regulatory MonitoringProvide day-to-day tax support through research and analysis. Track tax and regulatory changes to maintain compliance in all jurisdictions within the cluster.Ad-hoc supportSupport in the implementation and execution of tax strategies and initiatives in Morocco and the wider cluster, ensuring compliance and alignement. RequirementsUniversity degree in Audit, Accounting, or Taxation Min. of 2-3 years of experience in tax accounting and compliance, preferably within a Big Four firm and working with multinational groups.Fluent French; good command of English.Microsoft Office; Solid accounting background and strong SAP navigation skills (ability to extract data and reconcile it).
