Role Summary

The Inside Sales Executive / Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of B2B customers by selling life science chemicals, reagents, and laboratory or production equipment. This role focuses on quotation management, proactive follow-ups, repeat business, and identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities through phone, email, and virtual meetings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound and outbound sales activities for assigned customer accounts
  • Prospect and develop new customers across Pharma, Biotech, Academia, CDMOs, Food, and Chemical industries
  • Understand and qualify customer needs and recommend suitable products and solutions
  • Prepare, send, and follow up on quotations through to order closure
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams on pricing, availability, and lead times
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system (accounts, quotes, activities)
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue and margin targets
  • Identify and develop cross-sell and upsell opportunities within existing accounts
  • Build and maintain long-term, trust-based customer relationships

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or Business
  • 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales or inside sales (technical sales preferred)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and French
  • Comfortable with outbound calling, customer engagement, and CRM systems
  • Strong organizational skills with a disciplined approach to follow-ups

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling laboratory consumables, reagents, or scientific equipment
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical, biotech, or academic research environments

  • Quote-to-order conversion rate
  • Revenue and gross margin performance
  • Repeat order rate

Job Type: Full-time
