Role Summary
The Inside Sales Executive / Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of B2B customers by selling life science chemicals, reagents, and laboratory or production equipment. This role focuses on quotation management, proactive follow-ups, repeat business, and identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities through phone, email, and virtual meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inbound and outbound sales activities for assigned customer accounts
- Prospect and develop new customers across Pharma, Biotech, Academia, CDMOs, Food, and Chemical industries
- Understand and qualify customer needs and recommend suitable products and solutions
- Prepare, send, and follow up on quotations through to order closure
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams on pricing, availability, and lead times
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system (accounts, quotes, activities)
- Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue and margin targets
- Identify and develop cross-sell and upsell opportunities within existing accounts
- Build and maintain long-term, trust-based customer relationships
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or Business
- 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales or inside sales (technical sales preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and French
- Comfortable with outbound calling, customer engagement, and CRM systems
- Strong organizational skills with a disciplined approach to follow-ups
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling laboratory consumables, reagents, or scientific equipment
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical, biotech, or academic research environments

- Quote-to-order conversion rate
- Revenue and gross margin performance
- Repeat order rate
