Associate Consultant

Job Purpose
JESA Advisory & Digital Solutions is the strategy consulting business unit of JESA, delivering consultancy services for JESA's clients in industry, infrastructure and urban development throughout Africa and the Middle East. We partner with the continent's largest and critical institutions to address their most complex opportunities, encompassing intertwined stakes and challenges (economic, technical, environmental, social).

Our team delivers a unique consultancy to our clients by combining business & management perspective with technology, engineering and execution capabilities in our expertise sectors (Mining, chemicals, manufacturing, agribusiness, energy, water, transportation, cities, real estate, social infrastructure).

Main Scope/Responsibilities
As an
Associate consultant
, based in Morocco (Casablanca), you will be part of integrated project teams from different backgrounds and disciplines working on complex challenges. Whether you're a fresh graduate or experienced consultant, you will collaborate with an excellent team throughout all levels in a flat organizational model.

You will support the development of key project streams, and participate in project definition, problem solving, recommendation development and client interaction to increase your understanding of complex business problematics.

Expect to be staffed on various types of missions, and to build your skills and competencies through a wide exposure to projects that have a real impact and create economic, strategic, and sustainable development for Africa and the Middle East.

Your main tasks will be:

• Participating in issue definition and structuring
• Screening data sources, collecting and processing relevant quantitative and qualitative data
• Performing analyses to support project streams
• Interacting with internal and client stakeholders to challenge and strengthen analyses
• Developing part or whole reports to support oral and written communication for owned scope
• Presenting recommendations to client teams with senior support
• Collaborate with internal and client teams to implement recommendations and action plans
• Professional Mobility to different locations as required by the assigned project.

Education

• Bac +5

• Curricula: Top Tier engineering & business institutions from Africa, Europe & North America (Grandes Ecoles, top universities)

• Part or whole of International education is a plus

• Personal attributes

• Passion for Africa development (economic, social & human) and future looking to tackle continent's biggest challenges & opportunities

• Interest in our target sectors (industry, infrastructure and urban development) and underlying technologies
