Sr. Supervisor Project Finance

Job purpose:
This role presents an exciting opportunity to engage deeply with management reporting, analysis, and forecasting—supporting strategic and operational decision-making through meaningful, data-driven insights.
Working closely with the FP&A Manager as part of a small, collaborative team, you will blend strong management accounting discipline with commercial acumen. Your ability to interpret and clearly communicate the story behind the numbers will be key to influencing business outcomes and driving performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis and deliver commercially focused insights that inform and empower key stakeholders.
- Support the preparation of high-quality monthly, quarterly, and annual management and board reports with clear, actionable insights on financial and operational performance.
- Contribute to monthly rolling forward cashflow forecasting by gathering and analyzing relevant data, supporting effective cash management and ensuring financial stability.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts, aligning financial planning with strategic and operational priorities.
- Monitor project budgets, expenses, and financial performance
- Prepare performance reporting across the business with a focus on key areas.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, offering financial guidance and promoting accountability through data-driven decision support.
- Deliver advanced financial analysis and provide project support to the FP&A Manager in initiatives that drive strategic outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial systems and processes.
- Ensure Compliance with the Project Documents more specifically with the Finance Documents.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education : Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional Qualification : Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification highly regarded.
- Experience: 5+ years of management accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity or group reporting environment.
- Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills, with demonstrated ability to build and maintain complex financial models and deliver high-quality, insightful analytics.
- Analytical Acumen: Proven ability to translate financial data into actionable insights through clear, concise reporting.
- Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail with a proactive and solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
- Communication : Excellent report-writing and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the business.
- Industry Exposure: Experience in the renewable energy sector is highly regarded.
