Role Purpose:

The Production Area Leader ensures efficient and stable daily operations in the cutting, crimping, and assembly areas of our new greenfield plant. The role supports all activities leading to a successful SOP, including team ramp-up, process implementation, equipment readiness, and adherence to quality and safety standards. The position focuses on hands-on execution on the shop floor, ensuring production output meets required targets from day one.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Active participation in the greenfield setup phase – from layout planning to equipment installation and team formation
  • Lead and supervise daily production operations in line with project timelines and quality expectations
  • Build, train, and develop a high-performing production team
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency standards across all operations
  • Implement and promote Lean Manufacturing practices and continuous improvement culture
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments (Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain)
  • Monitor production KPIs and drive actions to meet operational targets
  • Support industrialization and process optimization initiatives

Your Profile:

  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in production, including at least 2 years as Production /Production Supervisor, or similar role in wiring harness manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in
    cutting and crimping
    (
    must-have) and assembly.
  • University or Master degree (technical field).
  • Proven experience managing teams and improving operational efficiency.
  • Solid understanding of production planning, process optimization, and quality standards.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Readiness to work in a dynamic, international environment.
  • Expertise in Lean production principles and modern maintenance methods.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and hands-on technical skills.
  • Leadership qualities to inspire and manage a new, growing maintenance team.
  • Flexibility, organizational strength, and excellent communication skills in a cross-functional setting.
  • Fluent in English, Arabic and French
