At Mooroot Studio, you'll learn how to build the invisible engine behind modern web apps.

You'll create APIs, manage databases, and design backend systems that power real client projects — all while mastering , Express, and modern backend architecture.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend logic using (Express / ).
  • Work with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar) to design efficient data models.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless API integration.
  • Optimize server performance, caching, and scalability.
  • Contribute to internal tools and automation systems that support production apps.

What We're Looking For

  • 4th or 5th-year student in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript / TypeScript.
  • Familiar with fundamentals, REST APIs, and asynchronous programming.
  • Comfortable with Git and basic deployment workflows.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • A GitHub or portfolio showing backend or full-stack projects.
  • Good English communication skills for reading and writing technical docs.
  • Familiarity with ORMs (e.g., Prisma, Sequelize) and authentication systems (JWT, OAuth).
  • Basic understanding of cloud deployment (e.g., Vercel, Render, or AWS).
  • Awareness of backend best practices — clean architecture, scalability, and security.

  • Location: On-site (Tangier)
  • Type: Part-Time
  • Duration: 3 months (renewable)
  • Compensation: Based on profile and performance
