We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Technician to provide comprehensive hardware and software support to employees and assist with onboarding new hires. This role includes troubleshooting, asset management, inventory tracking, and coordination with external vendors. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and image Windows laptops/desktops and iMacs (IMAC: installations, moves, additions, changes).
  • Provide remote and on-site troubleshooting for Windows, macOS, and mobile devices.
  • Perform printer break-fix, installation, and network printer queue management.
  • Handle asset disposal, redeployment, and reclaim processes.
  • Coordinate shipping and hardware deliveries.
  • Manage data backups, data recovery, and hardware refresh cycles.
  • Process warranty and out-of-warranty repairs/replacements.
  • Provide walk-up and executive (VIP) support.
  • Conduct audio/video setup, troubleshooting, and health checks.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and asset tagging in the management system.
  • Collaborate with HR/IT for onboarding new hires and assigning hardware.
  • Generate weekly reports on inventory and hardware usage.
  • Liaise with vendors for hardware repairs and dispatch services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software application conflicts.
  • Ensure compliance with company IT standards and security policies.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3–5 years in IT desktop support or related technical role.
  • Proficiency in Windows 10 imaging, setup, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of macOS systems and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Familiarity with basic networking (TCP/IP, Ethernet, Windows Networking).
  • Networked printer installation and maintenance experience.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work extended or modified hours when required.
  • Experience supporting users in call center/help desk environments is preferred.

Job Type: Contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: 100.00DH DH per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
