We Are Hiring A new and dynamic company in the automotive sector, is looking for a Production Leader to join our team
Position: Production Leader / Team Leader – Automotive Manufacturing
Department: Production / Manufacturing Operations
Reports To: Production Manager / Plant Manager
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate a production team of approximately 10 employees, ensuring daily output, safety, and quality targets are met.
- Plan and organize production schedules in line with customer demand and production capacity.
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and 5S / Lean Manufacturing standards. Monitor and continuously improve productivity, scrap rate, and downtime.
- Ensure correct setup, operation, and maintenance of machinery and tools.
- Collaborate with quality, maintenance, and logistics teams to resolve production issues quickly.
- Conduct daily shift meetings and report key performance indicators (OEE, PPM, delivery adherence).
- Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and performance feedback to operators.
- Ensure all safety and environmental procedures are followed.
- Drive continuous improvement (Kaizen) initiatives and participate in problem-solving activities (5Why, Ishikawa).Required Qualifications
- Education: Technical degree or vocational diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in manufacturing, with at least 1 years in a team-leading role within the automotive industry
- Knowledge: Familiar with production planning, lean tools, SPC, basic maintenance, and quality systems
- Standards: Working knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and safety regulations Tools: 5S, Kaizen, OEE, 8D, 5Why, and TPM
- Software: Microsoft Office, ERP/MES systems (SAP, Odoo, etc.)
- Languages: English required
