Legal Counsel

Job Description

What You Bring :

• A master's degree in Moroccan law or a similar qualification.

• 4 to 10 years' experience working as an in-house attorney in an international company or as an attorney in an international law firm;

• Excellent language skills in English and French (sufficient English skills with excellent reading, writing and listening skills is a must)

• A good understanding of the business environment and are eager to work in an international environment.

• The ability to work well in a team and have excellent communication skills.

• An entrepreneurial spirit and are well-organized

• Strong negotiation skills and follow an analytical approach

• The ability to work independently and be a trustful advisor to the local management

What You Do :

• Provide business-oriented legal advice to all levels of management and staff

• Monitor, research and address legal issues within the company / branch

• Draft and review contracts, agreements and corporate documents (e.g. rules of procedure), corporate resolutions and accompanying legal documentation).

• Ensure implementation of internal governance policies

• Raise awareness of, and develop risk mitigation measures

• Work with the global Allianz Technology Legal community in developing and enhancing practices and procedures

• Work in cross-functional teams as required and in line with evolving business needs and the regulatory environment.

• Conduct trainings

• Closely follow legislative processes both on a national and international level and help to identify necessary steps for their implementation at Allianz Technology SE.

• Oversee and steer external legal counsel, where applicable.
