We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented
Software Test Engineer
with a strong focus on API testing and a good understanding of MQTT protocols. The role involves designing and executing test strategies to ensure the reliability, performance, and functionality of software systems, particularly backend services and communication protocols.

Your mission

  • Develop and implement test cases for APIs and backend services
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, and protocol-level testing
  • Validate API responses, error handling, and performance
  • Use tools such as Swagger, Robot Framework, and Python for automation
  • Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps)
  • Document and report test results, issues, and recommendations clearly
  • Apply knowledge of MQTT to test messaging workflows and communication between services
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and tools

Your profile

  • Experience with API testing tools and frameworks
  • Understanding of MQTT and other messaging protocols
  • Strong grasp of RESTful services and JSON/XML formats
  • Familiarity with test automation and scripting (Python preferred)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
