Role Overview
Graystone Capital is seeking a Brand & Reputation Strategist to shape, protect, and elevate the firm's brand identity, public image, and market positioning across regional and international markets.
This role goes beyond traditional marketing, it focuses on strategic branding, public relations, media engagement, thought leadership, and reputation management for a financial advisory and consulting firm operating across multiple geographies.
The ideal candidate understands how to communicate trust, credibility, and authority in the financial services space while aligning closely with senior leadership and business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Positioning
Develop and execute a cohesive brand and reputation strategy aligned with Graystone Capital's vision and growth plans.
Define and maintain brand guidelines, tone of voice, and messaging across all platforms.
Ensure consistent brand representation across digital, print, events, and external communications.
Public Relations & Media Engagement
Manage relationships with media, publications, and PR agencies.
Draft and distribute press releases, media briefs, leadership announcements, and corporate statements.
Secure brand visibility through media coverage, interviews, features, and industry publications.
Act as a gatekeeper for external communications and media responses.
Thought Leadership & Executive Visibility
Position Graystone Capital's leadership as thought leaders in Working Capital, Trade Finance, and Financial Advisory.
Develop leadership content such as op-eds, expert articles, LinkedIn narratives, keynote briefs, and interview talking points.
Support speaking engagements, panel participations, and industry events.
Corporate Communications
Oversee internal and external communications to ensure clarity, consistency, and professionalism.
Support major announcements including partnerships, mandates, expansions, and leadership updates.
Work closely with marketing, legal, and leadership teams to manage sensitive communications.
Reputation & Crisis Management
Monitor brand sentiment, media mentions, and public perception.
Develop reputation risk mitigation and crisis communication frameworks.
Support leadership during sensitive situations with structured messaging and communication plans.
Success Metrics (KPIs)
Brand visibility and credibility across target markets
Quality and consistency of brand messaging
Media coverage and PR placements
Leadership thought-leadership presence
Reputation stability and stakeholder perception
Ideal Candidate Profile
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Branding, Journalism, or Marketing.
4–8 years of experience in branding, PR, communications, or reputation management.
Experience in financial services, consulting, professional services, or corporate communications is strongly preferred.
Excellent writing, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to handle confidential, sensitive, and high-stakes communications.
Strong understanding of brand-building in trust-led industries.
Strategic mindset with strong execution capability.
