Plant Manager

The Plant Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing all operational activities of the Kenitra site, ensuring high performance across Production, Quality, and Maintenance while fostering safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The role ensures strong alignment with Hirschmann Automotive's global operations standards, to secure consistent practices and best-in-class performance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plant Operations and Performance

2. Lead the daily management of plant operations across Production, Quality, and Maintenance.

3. Ensure operational performance according to key KPIs (OEE, scrap rate, on-time delivery, productivity).
4. Coordinate between KE-A and KE-B to ensure alignment in goals, standards, and leadership practices.

5. Drive accountability for safety, quality, and delivery at all organizational levels.

6. People Leadership and Development

7. Lead and develop the plant leadership team, including Heads of Production, Heads of Quality, and Maintenance Leaders.

8. Promote a culture of empowerment, teamwork, and continuous improvement
9. Identify and coach future leaders and "Rising Stars," fostering talent growth and succession readiness.

10. Build engagement and collaboration across both sub-plants to ensure one cohesive Kenitra organization.

11. Financial and Strategic Accountability

12. Manage the plant's budget, focusing on cost efficiency and profitability.

13. Contribute to strategic decisions related to investment, capacity, and production footprint.

14. Ensure full compliance with local regulations, company policies, and audit requirements.

15. Functional Collaboration (Dotted-Line Leadership)

16. Technology: Ensure coordination with the global Technology function on equipment standards, new process introductions, and innovation deployment.

17. Production Planning: Work closely with the global and regional planning teams to align production schedules with customer demand, optimize resource utilization, and balance capacities between KE-A and KE-B.

18. Lean / Continuous Improvement: Cooperate with the global Lean function to implement standardized methodologies (5S, Kaizen, SMED, TPM, etc.) and drive continuous improvement projects.

19. Quality and Compliance

22. Ensure strong collaboration between Quality and Production for problem-solving and process improvements.

23. Maintenance and Equipment Reliability

24. Oversee maintenance performance to ensure high equipment availability and reliability.

25. Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs in line with corporate standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or plant management role.
• Proven track record in operational leadership within an international manufacturing environment (automotive preferred).
• Experience in leading multifunctional teams and driving cultural change.
• Fluent in English and French;
