Duties and responsibilities:• Support the implementation of the communication strategy with a focus on Communication with Communities (CwC), particularly via digital channels (HELP website, and UNHCR Morocco social media).
• Assist in the creation/design, scheduling, and monitoring of digital content targeting refugee and host communities (social media posts, stories, visuals, etc.).
• Help ensure that digital communication materials are inclusive, accessible, and adapted to the needs of different audiences (French, English).
• Monitor online engagement and community feedback across platforms and share insights to improve digital outreach.
• Participate in the coordination and implementation of communication projects and campaigns (e.g. World Refugee Day, press briefings, project launches).
• Provide support in media monitoring and the preparation of the weekly press review.
• Assist in drafting and translating reports, press releases and communication material in French, and English.
• Contribute to the preparation of thematic briefs on political, economic, and legal issues relevant to UNHCR's work.
• Support the drafting of operational and analytical reports for the Head of External Relations.
• Participate in external coordination meetings with partners, UN agencies, and governmental stakeholders, taking notes and supporting follow-up actions.
• Contribute to the organization and visibility aspects of external events and outreach activities.
• Assist the Communication Associate in different tasks.Standard Job Description Required Languages
