Job Description

  • Ensure the performance and robustness of developed systems against customer specifications.
  • Functionally coordinate system-related activities for one or several projects.
  • Deploy, monitor, and improve standard system development processes and methodologies.

System Performance & Robustness

  • Lead specification, architecture, design, and validation of multi-physics systems.
  • Act as customer front office for technical reporting and system performance.
  • Manage risks using standard tools (xFMEA, anomaly reports) and propose mitigation plans.
  • Ensure compliance with norms, regulations, and ergonomic rules.
  • Conduct benchmarking and technology watch (patents, congress participation).
  • Monitor product and development costs with regular reporting.

Functional Coordination

  • Oversee system scope activities (System Engineering, Control, SW Validation, Integration, Calibration).
  • Track timing and budget for RFQ and development phases.
  • Analyze OEM specifications and cascade requirements to HW/SW/Mechanical teams.
  • Perform functional analysis, architecture definition, and system FMEA.
  • Manage deliverables according to System PDP and WEPRO standards.

Process Improvement

  • Apply and optimize standard development processes and methodologies.
  • Monitor KPIs (Control Anomaly Reports, calibration maturity).
  • Capture lessons learned and proposed process/toolchain improvements.
  • Foster collaboration and synergy within system teams and across projects.

Profile Description

  • Engineering degree (mechatronics, electronics, automation).
  • Demonstrated experience in architecture of automotive controlled systems/ embedded systems
  • Knowledge of OBDI/OBDII/EOBD, Functional Safety, RAMS.
  • Familiarity with CANalyzer, CANape or equivalent tools.
  • Ability to read E/E engineering documentation.
  • Strong project coordination and customer management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Clear communication, team spirit, listening.
  • Decision-making, problem-solving, multitasking.
  • Adaptability in a matrix, multicultural, fast-paced environment.
