Career Land Center is hiring a Head Chef / Pastry Chef for a Turkish and Greek restaurant during Riyadh Season in Saudi Arabia.
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Contract: 6 months
Start Date: October 2026
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef, Pastry Chef, Executive Chef, or in a similar senior culinary position.
- Strong professional experience preparing Turkish and/or Greek cuisine.
- Strong knowledge of traditional Turkish and Greek pastries, desserts, and culinary techniques.
- Excellent understanding of food quality, presentation, consistency, and portion control.
- Experience leading and supervising a kitchen team.
- Ability to maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen organization.
- Strong communication, leadership, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural restaurant environment.
- Culinary training or relevant professional certification is an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise daily kitchen operations.
- Prepare and oversee the preparation of Turkish and Greek dishes and pastries.
- Maintain consistent quality, taste, presentation, and portion standards.
- Develop and maintain authentic recipes and menu items.
- Train and supervise kitchen and pastry team members.
- Monitor food inventory, ingredients, and kitchen supplies.
- Control food costs and minimize waste.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
- Coordinate closely with the Restaurant Manager and front-of-house team.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen throughout service.
