About the Moroccan Center for Game Theory:

The Moroccan Center for Game Theory, housed within UM6P (Rabat, Morocco), is a multi-disciplinary international laboratory, dedicated to advancing research in game theory and its various applications. It will launch its doctoral program "Game Theory in Mathematics, Economics, and Computation" in October 2024, in partnership with a diverse team of international visiting professors. The center aims to recruit ten researchers by 2028 and will host about ten to fifteen Moroccan and African and International doctoral students starting in 2024. In addition to its academic programs, the center will organize a monthly seminar and an annual international conference to promote knowledge exchange and collaboration in the field.

Located in the municipality of Benguerir, in the very heart of the Green City, Mohammed VI Polytechnic University aspires to leave its mark nationally, continentally, and globally.

Mission: Ensure smooth administrative operations at the "Moroccan Center for Game Theory" (MCGT) research laboratory by providing efficient support to the director and research team, overseeing the doctoral program management, and coordinating laboratory events.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and room reservation management for the center and doctoral program.
  • Manage MCGT emails.
  • Plan and organize laboratory meetings, including note-taking.
  • Provide administrative support to the director.
  • Gather information on laboratory events for website and agenda reporting.
  • Administer support for doctoral candidates, including record maintenance and integration assistance.
  • Coordinate schedules and logistics for faculty, teachers, guests, and students in collaboration with Business pole team.
  • Facilitate interactions with Business Pole teams for logistical needs and event organization.

Required Skills:

  • Proficient in English and French.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.
  • Familiarity with office tools and scheduling software.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Knowledge of administrative procedures and academia.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in administration, secretarial studies, or related field.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Event organization expertise is a plus.
