Position Summary The EHS Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs within a plastic exterior parts manufacturing company. This role ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company standards, while promoting a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace. The EHS Engineer will support daily production operations, risk prevention, incident investigation, environmental control, and continuous improvement of EHS performance.

Key Responsibilities
EHS policy management and compliance: Implement and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and management systems in compliance with local regulations and company requirements. Monitor and interpret applicable EHS legal and regulatory requirements and ensure timely implementation. Workplace safety management: Conduct routine safety inspections in production areas, warehouses, utility rooms, laboratories, and office areas. Identify hazards and unsafe behaviors, and coordinate corrective and preventive actions. Environmental management: Manage environmental aspects related to plastic parts manufacturing, including air emissions, wastewater, industrial waste, hazardous waste, noise, and energy consumption. Monitor environmental performance indicators and support environmental improvement initiatives. Occupational health management: Support occupational health risk identification and control, including noise, dust, chemicals, heat, and ergonomics. Coordinate employee health surveillance, PPE management, and occupational health training. Incident investigation and emergency response: Participate in the investigation of accidents, near misses, unsafe conditions, and environmental incidents. Analyze root causes and track corrective/preventive actions. Documentation and reporting: Maintain EHS records, reports, permits, risk assessments, inspection results, training records, and incident statistics. Continuous improvement: Support EHS improvement projects to reduce accidents, environmental impact, and compliance risks. Participate in new equipment introduction. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or above in Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 3+years of EHS experience in manufacturing, preferably in plastic parts, automotive components, injection molding, painting, or surface treatment industries. Familiarity with applicable EHS laws, regulations, and industry practices. Knowledge of hazardous chemicals management, fire safety, waste management, occupational health, and environmental controls. Experience in incident investigation, risk assessment, and EHS training. Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and EHS documentation/reporting. Work proficiency in English.
