About the Client and Role

Our client, a leading Automotive company, is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in monitoring production operations, ensuring quality standards, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily production activities to ensure goals are met within established timelines.
  • Apply Lean tools to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality.
  • Prepare, implement, and document product changes.
  • Develop error-prevention procedures.
  • Create technical specifications for procurement and suppliers.
  • Coordinate delivery of original products to customers with all necessary documentation.
  • Collaborate with the Simultaneous Development Team (SDT) on Statements of Work (SOW), Capital Appropriation Requests (CAR), and accurate data entry in the Trim Product Data Management (TPDM) system.
  • Suggest and implement process improvements.
  • Manage administrative tasks including daily reporting and data entry per company procedures.
  • Develop detailed activity plans for production processes.
  • Follow all relevant work procedures.
  • Recognize and respond effectively to customer expectations.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Fluent in English (mandatory).
  • Strong knowledge of Lean methodologies and continuous improvement processes.
  • Proven experience in manufacturing engineering within a plant environment.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
