We are seeking a passionate and entrepreneurial Artist Manager to partner with the artist in elevating his artistic career. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building brands, cultivating relationships, and organizing impactful art experiences.
You will be the driving force behind planning exhibitions, negotiating opportunities, and shaping the artist's public presence across digital and physical platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Exhibition Management:
- Identify, negotiate, and manage gallery shows, art fairs, and pop-up exhibitions.
- Handle logistics from contracts to installation and opening events.
- Brand Development & Content Strategy:
- Develop a cohesive branding and content plan aligned with YouS's story and vision.
- Oversee social media content, press releases, and marketing campaigns.
- Business Development:
- Build and maintain relationships with galleries, curators, collectors, and press.
- Explore collaborations, partnerships, and sponsorship opportunities.
- Sales & Growth:
- Drive art sales through exhibitions, digital channels, and private collectors.
- Monitor sales performance and maximize revenue opportunities.
Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in artist management, gallery coordination, or creative brand management.
- Strong network within the art world (galleries, collectors, curators, press).
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial spirit — comfortable with a commission-only model.
- Passionate about contemporary and experimental art.
What We Offer
- Commission-based compensation: 10% of profits from exhibitions and sales (no base salary).
