Position summary

The Analyst – Corporate Finance supports the execution of M&A, fundraising, and financial advisory engagements by performing rigorous analysis, research, and documentation.

The role requires a strong analytical mindset, technical precision, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights, while contributing to client deliverables and business development initiatives.

Key responsabilities

Transaction & Financial Analysis

• Build and maintain financial models (DCF, LBO, comparables, and scenario-based) following internal templates.
• Conduct valuation analyses using multiple methods (trading comps, precedent transactions, and intrinsic value).
• Prepare Information Memorandums, Teasers, and Pitch Books aligned with corporate finance guidelines.
• Draft Investment Opportunity Reports (private markets) and Securities Analysis Reports (public markets).
• Execute industry benchmarking and comparables analysis to assess valuation multiples and trends.
• Support due diligence and data room preparation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure proper formalization of documentation according to Injaz Capital's standards and internal guidelines.

Research & Market Intelligence

• Conduct sector research and prepare target company profiles for M&A and fundraising projects.
• Source securities investment ideas and private investment opportunities following Injaz's investment screening process.
• Maintain and update databases of targets, investors, comparable transactions, and key sector players.
• Contribute to market expansion studies and cross-sector opportunity assessments.

Presentation & Reporting

• Prepare
  client presentations
  and visual reports in PowerPoint.
• Summarize key findings, insights, and recommendations for internal and external use.
• Present research results to senior staff with clarity and professionalism.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Work closely with Senior Analysts and Managers to execute mandates efficiently.
• Support in process documentation, report templates, and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to internal meetings and demonstrate ownership of assigned workstreams.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Technical Skills

• Advanced Financial Modeling: Ability to build and audit structured models (DCF, LBO, scenario-based).
• Valuation & Analysis: Strong knowledge of valuation techniques and sensitivity analysis.
• Finance Knowledge: Understanding of accounting principles and financial-statement normalization.
• Transaction Documentation: Experience drafting IMs, teasers, and analytical reports.
• Due Diligence Coordination: Familiarity with managing data rooms and external documentation.
• Writing & Reporting: Clear, concise, and structured report writing in English and French.
• Tools: Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Engineering from a top-tier university.
• 1–3 years of experience in Corporate Finance, M&A, Audit, or Transaction Services.
• Fluency in English, French and Arabic
• Advanced command of Excel and PowerPoint; data visualization experience is a plus.
• Certifications such as CFA Level I preferred.
