Quality Engineer – APC Projects

For this role we are looking for candidate who is located in Jordan. This is a hard requirement.

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to support our supervision team. This role involves implementing and monitoring quality assurance procedures, conducting inspections, and ensuring that all construction activities meet the required standards and specifications. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the integrity and reliability of project deliverables throughout the execution phase.

• Develop and implement quality assurance plans and inspection procedures
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify compliance with specifications and standards
• Review and approve quality documentation, including test reports and material certifications
• Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and suppliers to resolve quality-related issues
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, non-conformities, and corrective actions
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to health and safety protocols

Working Hours: Six days per week (Friday off), with compensation aligned to workload and responsibilities.

Project Context

Haskoning is engaged in the Salt Tailings Project, which involves the construction of geomembrane-lined areas, interceptor drains, and brine return pipelines. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for overseeing quality control processes, coordinating with contractors and consultants, and ensuring compliance with project and regulatory requirements.

Location: Dead Sea Area, Jordan.

Duration: Initial contract for 6 months, with potential for extension based on project needs and mutual agreement.

• A minimum of 10 years' experience in quality assurance or quality control within civil engineering or infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, testing procedures, and international quality standards
• Familiarity with geomembrane installation and water infrastructure works is an asset
• Proficiency in quality management systems and documentation practices
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Effective communication and coordination abilities

• Strong command of English language

• A proactive and structured approach to maintaining high standards on-site
