For this role we are looking for a candidate who is located in Jordan. This is a hard requirement.

We are seeking a Tender / Planning Engineer to support our design team. This role involves coordinating tender documentation, preparing take-offs and bills of quantities, developing project schedules, and contributing to the strategic planning and execution of a complex infrastructure initiative. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the project's timely and cost-effective delivery, while maintaining compliance with technical and contractual standards.

Haskoning is engaged to support the South Expansion Project, which includes extensive engineering works requiring detailed planning and procurement coordination. The Tender / Planning Engineer will be instrumental in aligning project timelines, resources, and deliverables with client expectations and regulatory frameworks.

Location: Dead Sea Area, Jordan

Duration: Initial contract for 6 months, with potential for extension based on project needs and mutual agreement.

Main tasks:

• Prepare and manage project schedules
• Compile tender documentation
• Prepare bills of quantities
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment of technical specifications and procurement strategies
• Support bid evaluations
• Monitor planning milestones and provide regular updates to stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with FIDIC contract standards and project governance protocols

Working Hours: Six days per week (Friday off), with compensation aligned to workload and responsibilities.

Candidate Profile

This vacancy is intended for a local candidate based in Jordan. The ideal candidate will have:

• A minimum of 10 years' experience in planning and tendering within infrastructure or civil engineering projects
• Familiarity with FIDIC contracts (experience with the Red Book 1999 version is an asset)
• Proficiency in project planning tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project
• Strong organisational and analytical skills
• Effective communication and coordination abilities
• A proactive and collaborative approach to working in multidisciplinary teams
