We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join our finance team. This position plays a key role in managing financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and ensuring compliance with both legal and audit requirements. You will be responsible for overseeing the full credit control process, from invoicing to payment, managing accounts, and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports for management, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, including comparing actuals with budgets, handling deviations, and updating projections.
  • Oversee the balance sheet and income statement control, maintaining general ledger accounts and clearing take-on accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with VAT and tax regulations through reconciliations and audit preparation.
  • Manage creditors, ensuring invoicing and payments are processed according to company and local legislative requirements.
  • Cashflow management, including reconciling bank statements, preparing payments for creditors, and ensuring timely payments.
  • Provide ad hoc reports and support the finance team with any other necessary financial tasks.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in credit control, financial reporting, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, financial forecasting, and balance sheet management.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of local tax legislation (e.g., VAT) .
  • Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple priorities.
  • Must have an excellent command of English – verbal & written
