Senior Supervisor Accounting & Tax

Position Overview

We are currently recruiting a
Senior Supervisor Accounting & Tax
for a leading company operating in an industrial and energy-related environment.

Reporting directly to the
Finance Manager
, the role is responsible for overseeing accounting and tax activities, ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal policies, and delivering accurate and timely financial information to support management decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Tax Operations

  • Ensure full compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
  • Guarantee the completeness, accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of financial and accounting information
  • Supervise bookkeeping activities and review general ledger accounts
  • Analyze accounting balances and ensure proper account reconciliations
  • Review bank reconciliation statements
  • Oversee tax preparation, review, filing, and compliance
  • Coordinate closing activities in line with legal deadlines and group requirements

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Participate in the annual budgeting process
  • Monitor budget execution and analyze variances between budgeted and actual results
  • Provide recommendations and corrective actions to address deviations
  • Update forecasts based on performance analysis

Reporting & Systems

  • Prepare and provide financial and accounting reports to management
  • Support finance-related projects as required
  • Contribute to improvements and alignment of the Financial Information System (FIS) with group standards

  • Project entities and other internal departments
  • Group finance entities

External:

  • External auditors
  • Banks
  • Suppliers and clients
  • Tax authorities and other relevant stakeholders

Education & Experience

  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum
    5 years of experience
    in accounting and tax, preferably in a structured or industrial environment
