We are a fast-growing technology company building innovative solutions for the travel and hospitality industry. We're looking for a skilled Laravel Developer with a strong focus on backend/API development to join our team and help us scale our products.

Role Summary

You will work closely with our CTO to design and deliver scalable REST APIs that power our web and mobile applications. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building reliable systems and solving real-world problems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain backend services using Laravel (v8+)

  • Design and implement RESTful APIs with clear documentation

  • Ensure APIs are secure, scalable, and optimized for performance

  • Implement authentication/authorization (JWT, Sanctum, Passport)

  • Integrate and manage third-party APIs

  • Optimize database schemas and queries for speed and reliability

  • Collaborate with frontend developers and designers for seamless integration

  • Participate in code reviews and ensure high coding standards

  • Write and maintain unit and integration tests

Requirements

  • 1–3 years hands-on experience with Laravel

  • Solid understanding of REST API principles and best practices

  • Strong knowledge of MySQL or similar relational databases

  • Familiarity with API documentation tools (Swagger/OpenAPI) is a plus

  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to debug efficiently

  • Comfortable working in an Agile environment

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with Redis / caching strategies

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines

  • Familiarity with Docker
