JOB PURPOSE :

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and architectures using Azure and Databricks platforms.

You will play a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making by ensuring high-quality data availability and processing across the organization.

PROFILE :

The ideal candidate is an engineer in Data or a related field with extensive experience in Azure Data Platform.

You should have a strong understanding of modern data platform including Data Mesh and delta lake. You are expected to demonstrate deep expertise in Azure and Databricks platforms, Spark-based processing, and CI/CD practices.

Excellent communication skills in both French and English, along with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams, are essential.

RESPONSABILITIES :

  • Develop solutions for data collection, storage, and restitution.
  • Organize and model data storage and availability.
  • Implement data processing pipelines.
  • Map and document sources and processes.
  • Design, develop, and industrialize technical data processing components.
  • Industrialize and automate data cleaning.
  • Implement data exchange solutions between operational, decision-making, and analytical systems.
  • Manage, maintain, and document databases.
  • Implement continuous integration and deployment solutions.
  • Implement monitoring solutions (build/run).
  • Manage anomalies.

  • Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Key Vault, Azure Functions
  • Python, Spark, Git, Azure Pipelines
  • Application Security, Design Patterns
  • Spark SQL, Delta Lake, RDD, DAG
  • Databricks SQL, Stream structure

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS :

  • Eco-design principles
  • Qlick Replicate
  • SonarQube, TDD/BDD, Agile methodology
  • Ganglia cluster usage
  • Shell scripting (bash/Powershell)

SOFT SKILLS :

  • Excellent communication skills in both French and English.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to quickly understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Ability to work remotely and engage with team members located globally.
  • Effective collaboration skills in a multicultural team environment.
