DAME is Daikin's Middle East and Africa regional HQ. The regional has headquarter in Dubai and other offices in Abu Dhabi, Cairo (Egypt), Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), Qatar as well as 2 production plants, and 2 sales subsidiaries and offices and a whole network of independent distributors and dealers across the MEA region.
Job Responsibilities:
- Based in Morocco, responsible for the techno-commercial support to Daikin Applied Engineer as well as Daikin direct and indirect customers, such as contractors and distributors based in the Africa.
- Responsible for HVAC applied systems (chillers, heat pumps, air handling units, fan coil units, pumping systems, chilled and hot water solutions in general), with regards of equipment selections, proposing solutions fitting the specific project and customer needs, replying to tenders till the job in hand, finalization, and order entry into the system.
- Critical analysis of tenders, bill of quantities and plant schematics, to select the most suitable technologies that suits the Customer expectations and the engineering scope.
- Be able to provide high level product and application support on chilled water systems, conducting presentations and seminars on existing and upcoming products, keeping the Daikin distribution network always informed about the latest technologies, fill the technical gaps between Daikin HQ and local network, with the aim to grow the business in the followed regions.
- Seamless daily coordination with the local team and Daikin MEA HQ, for alignment, pipeline reviews, order processing, technical support, competitors' analysis, business discussions
Job Requirements:
Experience:
- Extensive technical knowledge in applied systems (chilled and hot water)
- Commercial attitude with solid technical background
- Critical approach in understanding MEP tenders documents (technical drawings, schematics, specifications)
Education:
- University degree in engineering. Additional MBA or post graduate degree is desirable.
Language/Computer skills:
- French and Arabic as a must for local markets; Proficiency in English will be an added advantage for better communication with HQ.
- Excellent communication (presentation, negotiation and social) skills
- Familiar with standard Microsoft tools such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Familiar with typical MEP project design tools and metods: Autocad, Psychrometric analysis, Heat load calculation, Engineering estimations, HVAC design
