We're looking for a B2B Marketing Manager to drive go-to-market, demand generation, and product storytelling for our core platform and a new set of data-driven, guided experiences for customers.

You'll own how we position and market these capabilities to brands, suppliers, and partners—shaping our narrative, building pipeline, and partnering closely with sales and product to turn market insight into growth. This is a hands-on role for someone who's comfortable moving between strategy and execution: from defining ICPs and messaging, to running campaigns, to writing a landing page or webinar outline yourself when needed.

What You'll Do

  • Define and refine ICPs, personas, and value propositions for our platform and new workflows.
  • Translate complex product capabilities into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with heads of sustainability, sourcing, compliance, and operations.
  • Craft messaging frameworks that can be reused across web, sales decks, emails, and campaigns.
  • Plan and execute integrated campaigns (email, content, events, partner co-marketing) to generate and accelerate qualified opportunities.
  • Design and optimize nurture programs for prospects and customers—moving them from initial interest through education to readiness for sales.
  • Experiment with new channels and tactics to reach decision-makers at brands, suppliers, and certification bodies.
  • Partner with product to plan launches for new capabilities, from positioning to GTM plans to launch content.
  • Create sales enablement assets: one-pagers, pitch decks, battlecards, FAQs, ROI stories, and objection handling.
  • Develop solution stories around data, workflows, and "guided experiences" that show how customers get value in real scenarios.
  • Own a content calendar that mixes deep educational content (guides, reports, interviews, webinars) with more tactical formats (checklists, templates, "readiness" guides).
  • Collaborate with our network (brands, certifiers, partners) on co-branded content and campaigns.
  • Help make CommonShare a go-to voice on credible claims, certifications, and responsible sourcing.
  • Own key marketing metrics across the funnel: awareness, engagement, MQLs/SQLs, opportunity creation, and influenced revenue.
  • Use tools like CRM and marketing automation to build dashboards, run experiments, and feed learnings back into the plan.
  • Work closely with sales to tighten handoffs, feedback loops, and attribution.

Qualifications

  • Have 4–7+ years of B2B marketing experience in SaaS or data/technology products.
  • Have owned end-to-end demand generation and/or product marketing for a complex solution with multiple buyer personas.
  • Are comfortable marketing data-rich, workflow-heavy, or platform products (even better if there's an analytics or "intelligent guidance" component).
  • Can switch easily between strategic thinking and hands-on execution: one hour working on narrative, the next in a marketing automation tool.
  • Are a strong communicator and storyteller—able to simplify complexity without dumbing it down.
  • Are metrics-minded and comfortable with Hubspot
  • Enjoy working cross-functionally with sales, product, and customer success, and you value quick feedback from the field.
  • Have genuine curiosity about sustainability, supply chains, and how organizations operationalize responsible sourcing.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in B2B marketplaces, platforms, or multi-sided networks.
  • Scripting and data science skills
  • Background or interest in supply chain, ESG, or certifications.
  • Experience marketing solutions that involve data integrations, workflows, or "guided" digital experiences.
  • Exposure to products that incorporate AI or advanced analytics, even if you're not technical.
