About this opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Operational Support System (OSS) Expert to join our Market Area Support and Repair organization, operating across more than 180 countries. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment at the forefront of the telecommunications industry, supporting cutting-edge Ericsson OSS solutions and infrastructure. What you'll do
- Act as a technical handler within the OSS domain, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
- Validate that customer requests meet contractual commitments.
- Participate in resolving customer network problems and emergencies.
- Lead problem management activities, implement corrective actions, and report results.
- Conduct proactive and reactive technical support.
- Prepare Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports for outages and issues.
- Serve as Investigation Leader, owning end-to-end issue investigations.
- Support Domain Managers and Service Delivery Managers in customer engagements.
- Prepare and deliver contracted customer performance and service reports.
- Drive organizational knowledge sharing and mentoring.
- Perform Ericsson software updates for bug fixes and improvements.
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in the OSS domain.
- Proficiency with Red Hat, VMware, Cloud technologies, and EMC Storage.
- Hands-on experience with Ericsson products such as ENM, ENIQ, and OMBS.
- Knowledge of OSS products such as Ericsson Orchestrator, SOEM, and IPTNMS (advantageous).
- Strong problem-solving abilities with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven track record in managing incidents, investigations, and delivering results under pressure.
- Flexibility to work outside standard hours and travel as required.
- Fluency in English and French.
