The Role of Room Service Order Taker

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Room Service Order Taker to join our Four Seasons Hotel Rabat Kasr Al Bahr team in Morocco

Main Responsibilities

• Answer telephone using courteous, efficient telephone etiquette while obtaining all information necessary to process the guest's order according to Four Seasons Standards, describe the selection of food & beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of the each item's, origin, taste, and preparation methods.
• Communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen using the hotel's point-of-sales system; check completed kitchen orders with the guest's original order; coordinate delivery of items to the guestroom by Room Service Servers in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality; properly and accurately close guest checks; record guest charges and gratuities.
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
• Coordinate amenity deliver by ensuring that all requests are received, filed, ordered from kitchen and delivered in a prompt and accurate fashion.
• Stock and order items.
• Assist in setting tray tables for delivery.
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
• Executes all tasks assigned by his/her superiors ( Manager, Supervisor and Captain )
• Demonstrates a high degree of standards awareness; promotes teamwork and acts as role model
• Attends all scheduled training sessions
• Displays warmth, care and genuine enthusiasm when dealing with guests and internal customers; lives the Golden Rule
• Adheres to the hotel's code of conduct and grooming & hygiene standards
• Is seen as working hands-on, assists colleagues in crunch times; Walks the talk
• Actively participates in briefings and meetings
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area and promotes a safe working environment
• Performs any additional duties as assigned

Our Ideal Room Service Order Taker candidate will have:

A special talent and passion for ensuring you and your team deliver the highest of standards consistently and ensuring exceptional service and attention to our internal and external guests. You should have Room Service Order Taker experience in luxury hotels, attention to detail, strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, the ability to multi-task with excellent organizational skills, and be a team player.

You will naturally also be a charismatic, nurturing, and inspiring leader with a strong passion for people welfare and development. You will be the Cultural Advocate of the Golden Rule; creating great workplaces for all great people to deliver great experiences.

Fluency in French, Arabic and English is a must for this location, along with eligibility to work in Morocco.
