MISSION

Provide Ficosa with solutions related to the use of facility (layouts and major issues), keeping all technical documents related with the building up to date.

GENERAL FUNCTIONS

• Develop projects for building, renovations or refurbishments, included those related to ensuring business continuity.
• Define and update a list of suppliers that match with building project needs.
• Obtain quotations from suppliers, ensuring the best quality and cost.
• Ensure projects are carried out on time and budget, according to defined specifications (including documentation).
• Keep all documents related to the building (inventory, layout drawings, electrical drawings, revisions, inspections, licenses, audit reports, etc.) up to date.
• Ensure the facilities meet current regulations, keeping records needed and supporting all audits.
• Define maintenance programs ensuring they are properly carried out.
• Supervise multi-disciplinary teams of staff.
• Supervise general purchasing activities ensuring business plan accomplishment.
• Lead OHSE activities among the department providing solutions to the organization.
• Act as safety leader for the department.
• Observe Ficosa's Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices. Comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) applicable to the job, along with the training related thereto.
• Actively cooperate in maintaining, promoting and improving the OSHE and Quality among the department.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Academic background:

Bachelor's degree, mainly in engineering

Languages:

Fluent local language & Fluent English (written & spoken)

Experience:

Minimum of 4 years as an engineer in an industrial environment

OTHER SPECIFICATIONS

Additional training:

Working knowledge of procurement and contracts,

solid knowledge of computers and systems, HVAC

systems, CAD software or fire protection systems

would be a plus
