Import & Logistics Junior Specialist
Profile Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Foreign Trade, Supply Chain Management, or a related field,
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in foreign trade or logistics operations (experience in retail or warehouse operations is a plus),
- Good knowledge of local trade and customs regulations,
- Good command of English and French (written and verbal),
- Proficient in MS Office tools,
- Strong organizational, problem-solving and communication skills,
- Hands-on and field-oriented, with the ability to support warehouse operations on-site,
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment,
Job Responsibilities:
- Support and monitor import processes, including document preparation and coordination with customs brokers,
- Assist in the execution and tracking of foreign trade operations in accordance with contractual terms,
- Follow up on customs procedures and ensure compliance with government regulations,
- Act as a liaison between warehouse teams, suppliers, and central operations,
- Assist the Warehouse Executive in day-to-day operations to ensure smooth inbound/outbound logistics,
- Contribute to the reporting of import related activities,
- Help manage and archive local supplier documents related to imports and logistics,
- Ensure good coordination and on-site support at the warehouse for all trade-related incoming shipments.
