Job Description

  • Analyze system requirements to identify functional needs and software constraints.
  • Define and formalize software functional requirements based on system specifications.
  • Design the software functional architecture by defining blocks, interfaces, and data flows in the MATLAB/Simulink environment.
  • Develop control functions and algorithms using the Model-Based Design (MBD) approach in MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Configure an initial calibration database to support development and testing phases.
  • Perform static validation of models to ensure compliance with quality requirements and modeling best practices.
  • Verify the functional behavior of models through Model-in-the-Loop (MiL) simulations.
  • Automatically generate embedded code from validated models.
  • Conduct Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) simulations to ensure the functional compliance of the generated code.
  • Participate in the software integration of developed components on the target platform.
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistency and continuity of development throughout the V-cycle.

Profile Description

  • Master's degree or Engineering degree in Embedded Systems, Electromechanics, or an equivalent field.
  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience in software development and testing using the Model-Based Design approach.
  • Experience in project management and team leadership is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of xEV/xHEV architectures and Internal Combustion Engines (ICE).
  • Excellent understanding of Powertrain (PWT) operation.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to solve technical problems.
  • Proactive mindset, sense of responsibility, and high level of commitment to projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
