Cutting&Crimping Technology Engineer – Automotive brownfield/greenfield plant

Role Purpose:

As a
C&C Technology Engineer
, you will be responsible for managing, commissioning, and optimizing cutting and crimping equipment within our new automotive wiring harness plant. You will play a critical role in ensuring reliable industrialization processes, supporting production readiness, and driving continuous improvement in equipment performance, setup time, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage equipment lifecycle: reception, installation, commissioning, release, and documentation.
  • Define and optimize parameters for cutting and crimping machines in line with technical preferences and customer requirements.
  • Create and maintain local work instructions for machine operation and tool setup.
  • Support sourcing, specification, and supplier selection for cutting & crimping equipment.
  • Conduct release protocols and requalification of crimp tools according to procedures.
  • Lead improvements in equipment performance, scrap, rework, and downtime reduction.
  • Define spare parts strategies and maintain equipment/tool databases.
  • Provide training and coaching to Production Maintenance teams on equipment use and maintenance.
  • Participate in cross-functional production/project meetings, ensuring timely resolution of open points.
  • Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and lessons learned for rare or critical equipment failures.
  • Contribute to the development of preventive maintenance plans.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Min 2 years of working experience in similar role in
    wiring harness automotive sector.
  • Proven background in industrialization and equipment management, ideally in the automotive sector.
  • Experience with Lean production principles and project management.
  • Strong troubleshooting ability with complex production systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Creative and analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Well-organized and reliable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements.
  • Fluent in English, Arabic and French
