We are looking for a
Freelance Field Service / Remote Hands Technician
to support on-site installation, setup, and handling of communications equipment in
Rabat, Morocco
.

Minimum 2 hours (with potential for additional work)

P4017 54, Rabat, Morocco

Key Responsibilities:

  • Powering on/off and installing communications equipment (routers/switches).
  • Setting up cable connections (straight-through, crossover, console).
  • Enabling remote access to terminals via console connection.
  • Searching, handling, and moving communications equipment as required.
  • Installing and securing equipment in racks.
  • Acting as on-site hands/eyes for remote engineers.

Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of communications equipment (routers/switches).
  • Ability to follow remote guidance from engineers.
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and professional.
  • Must be located in or near Rabat, Morocco.

Technician Should Have:

  • Access to labeled IG Networks equipment.
  • Laptop with TeamViewer + charger.
  • Digital camera (cell phone camera acceptable).
  • 3G/4G SIM (optional, can use cell phone SIM).
  • Headphones / Headset for cell phone (optional).
  • Cell phone + charger.
  • Identification documents.
  • Straight, crossover, and console cables + adapter.
