Role Overview

We are seeking a
Senior IT Engineer & DevOps
to join our Casablanca team onsite. You will be responsible for managing and securing our infrastructure across
on-premise servers, cloud environments, and CI/CD platforms
.

This role includes
server administration, GitLab management, Kubernetes orchestration, Docker containerization, Jenkins pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and network security
.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Platform Management

  • Install, configure, and manage
    GitLab (self-hosted)
    including runners, backups, and upgrades.
  • Manage on-premise servers (e.g.,
    DELL R GB DDR5
    ), storage, and networking hardware (e.g.,
    Aruba Ion 1830 8G 65W Switch
    ).
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Deploy and operate
    Kubernetes clusters
    and containerized workloads with Docker.
  • Configure
    firewalls, VPNs, VLANs
    for secure connectivity.

DevOps & CI/CD

  • Build and maintain
    CI/CD pipelines
    (GitLab CI, Jenkins).
  • Integrate automated testing, security scans, and compliance checks.
  • Apply
    IaC tools
    (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi) for automated deployments.

Security & Compliance

  • Implement
    network security best practices
    (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SSL/TLS, RBAC in Kubernetes/GitLab).
  • Apply
    AES-256 encryption, TLS, and secure enclaves
    for sensitive data.
  • Administer network devices, including
    Fortinet FortiGate-50G Firewall
    .
  • Ensure compliance with
    SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR
    , and financial industry standards.
  • Manage
    UPS systems
    (Eaton Onduleur 9E 10KVA) for reliability.

Monitoring & Reliability

  • Set up monitoring with
    Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK stacks
    .
  • Establish disaster recovery and failover systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues to maintain high availability.

System Administration & Support

  • Administer
    Linux/Windows servers
    .
  • Monitor system performance, resolve alerts, and support engineering teams.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years
    in IT infrastructure and DevOps.
  • Proven
    GitLab installation, configuration, and management
    experience.
  • Strong
    Kubernetes (cluster setup, Helm, ingress, RBAC)
    and
    Docker
    expertise.
  • CI/CD automation using
    GitLab CI and Jenkins
    .
  • Mandatory:
    Infrastructure as Code
    expertise (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi).
  • Deep knowledge of
    network security
    (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, SSL/TLS).
  • Strong
    Linux administration and scripting
    (Bash, Python).

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Blockchain node deployment (Ethereum, Hyperledger, Polkadot).
  • Experience with
    Kafka, RabbitMQ
    .
  • Hybrid cloud networking.
