Are you a skilled accountant with a passion for education? Join us as a Junior Manager of Administration, Finances and Accounting at Tawjeeh, a leading student advising company dedicated to helping students navigate their educational journey. We are seeking a driven individual with a passion for education and a desire for continuous learning and development to oversee our accounting process, financial planning, budgeting, and reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast- paced environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: monitor and manage daily financial operations including accounts payable and receivable , payroll processing and maintenance of the general ledger. Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including reconciliations and adjustments to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts. Provide insights and recommendations for budget improvements based on financial analysis and business trends.
  • Financial Reporting: Create detailed financial reports and summaries and external audits, ensuring all financial records are accurate and complete.
  • Tax and Compliance: manage tax filings, including VAT, corporate tax, and other statutory returns, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Strategic Planning: Support senior management in strategic planning and decision-making processes by providing financial data and analysis. Contribute to the development of long-term financial strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Additional certifications like Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) can be advantageous.
  • Significant experience in an administrative, financial, or accounting role.
  • Experience in managing teams or projects is a plus.
  • Fluency in both French and English
