It has a successful track record in project execution across key markets such as India, Middle East, Europe, South-East Asia, America and also some challenging geographies of Africa and Papua New Guinea.

has recently been awarded a contract for undertaking Construction and Erection of Material Handling System i.e. Conveyor Systems from Plant to Port in West Africa Region.

Essar Projects
has initiated mobilization of expertise manpower for the above project. This project promises not just significant rewards and recognition, but opportunities to gain experience of working on mega scale complex EPC Projects.

Major Responsibilities
:

The role involves handling EPC contracts & subcontractor contracts including drafting of contracts, client & contractor correspondences, raising and settling claims / change with client etc.

1. Review and finalization of client contracts
2. Client correspondences in consultation with Project leader and other Project stakeholders
3. Changes/claims management for client contract
4. Draft Subcontract terms and conditions, prepare & float RFP, negotiate and finalize subcontracts
5. Subcontract correspondences in consultation with Project leader and other Project stakeholders
6. Change/claims management for subcontracts
7. Provide commercial support / input to various departments (Engineering, Accounts, Construction Planning etc.) and ensure that the major deliverables are in line with the client contract
8. Prepare contract MIS reports

Qualification
:

B.E. / B.Tech. – Mechanical

Language Proficiency:

Proficiency in French and Arabic language is a must.

Experience:

Candidate with 10-12 years of experience, specializing in EPC contracts preferably in material handling packages & conveyor systems.

Candidate should have handled site subcontracts including drafting of subcontracts, subcontract correspondences, settling claims/ change with subcontractors.

Sound understanding of terms of EPC contracts including FIDIC form of contracts is must.

Candidates who are working in Morocco or have earlier worked in Morocco will have preference.

Skills
:

Excellent negotiation and communication skills

Proficiency in contract management and legal aspects of it.

Experience in Arbitration and SAP MM Module shall be preferred.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
