IMS Srl, an engineering consulting company, is seeking an HSE Manager to be assigned to a project in Casablanca, in collaboration with a major client operating in the railway sector.
The selected candidate will report directly to the Project Manager of the contract. The role involves coordinating and organizing all activities related to project safety in compliance with local legislation, as well as carrying out regular site inspections.
Main responsibilities include:
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations within the construction site;
Recording and monitoring safety data and reports;
Supervising ongoing operations on site;
Identifying risk factors and defining prevention and protection measures in line with current legislation;
Drafting and verifying procedures on site;
Preparing Safety and Operational Plans (POS) and/or construction site documents;
Leading coordination meetings with contractors;
Performing document checks for subcontractors.
Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience as HSE Manager;
Strong knowledge of HSE legislation and standards;
Fluent in English; knowledge of French will be considered an asset;
Previous experience in the heavy automotive/railway sector will be considered a plus.
Work location: Casablanca, Morocco.
Contract type: Freelance collaboration with VAT number.
Project duration: 1-year contract, with the possibility of extension for an additional year.
