Digital Product Designer

As a UX/UI Designer Intern, you will be part of our team responsible for creating extraordinary user experiences across diverse products. You will work collaboratively with designers, developers, data scientists, and stakeholders to take designs from concept to polished high-fidelity mock-ups that meet both business and user demands.
This is a full-time internship opportunity requiring relocation to Casablanca, Morocco.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify stakeholder problems and propose suitable solutions.
- Use existing customer insights from research to guide design decisions while initiating and supporting research efforts with partners.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of visual and interaction design principles and practices, from initial sketching through wireframing to high-fidelity prototyping.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data, customer, and stakeholder perspectives to frame problems and opportunities.
- Create clear visual communications to convey research messages to teams and stakeholders, such as user journeys, personas, and systemic maps.
- Integrate stakeholder vision, user insights, and team discussion inputs into relevant design propositions.
- Facilitate ideation sessions with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Effectively use design systems, understanding differences and similarities between various design systems/platforms.
- Test and iterate on physical and digital designs with stakeholders and users.
- Communicate design rationale behind decisions to team members and stakeholders through routine informative materials.
- Partner with product managers, engineers, and content designers to solve customer problems using an agile approach.
- Incorporate feasibility, viability, and strategic stakeholder constraints into designs.
- Collect, process, and act on design feedback constructively.
- Utilize design tools (e.g., Figma, Miro, Dovetail, testing tools).
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in designing B2B and B2C products through a portfolio highlighting visual capabilities and UX/UI design perspective.
- Proficiency in using Figma as the primary tool for creating experiences.
- Extensive experience in developing wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups for developer implementation.
- Skill in design thinking to identify issues and devise creative solutions by fully understanding user objectives, pain points, and tasks.
- Collaborative and practical, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills; open to mentoring and guiding others.
- A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Visual Design, Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience, or a related design field preferred.
- An entrepreneurial mindset ready to tackle diverse user and stakeholder challenges.
- Proficiency in English required for this position; knowledge of French highly valued.
