Electromechanic Job Overview

This role involves performing maintenance, repairs, and upgrades of various equipment components, ensuring health and safety standards are met.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial mechanics or electromechanics, with relevant experience in the manufacturing industry.

  • Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems;
  • Ability to read plans, sketches, and service bulletins;
  • Basic knowledge of cutting, manufacturing, and welding tools;
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
  • Autonomy, thoroughness, proactivity, and customer service orientation.

As an Electromechanic, you will be responsible for:

  • Diagnosing and repairing or replacing components;
  • Reading hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical plans;
  • Performing various preventive maintenance tasks;
  • Using machining tools to manufacture parts necessary for repair, maintenance, or assembly of machines;
  • Participating in the installation or improvement of production equipment;
  • Ensuring work is done impeccably within a reasonable timeframe to limit production stoppages;
  • Constantly seeking improvement, correction, or implementation of new procedures to increase productivity and eliminate problems at the source;
  • Establishing constant communication with operators about jobs performed on machinery;
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.
