We are seeking a skilled professional to take on a challenging role in business development and sales. As a Regional Business Developer, you will be responsible for expanding market share and driving sales growth across North West Africa.
In this dynamic position, you will lead market expansion efforts, build strong customer relationships, and ensure the successful execution of sales and after-sales strategies. You will work closely with key stakeholders to identify new opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Business Development & Sales Growth: Drive market expansion by increasing Bosch's market share and enhancing brand recognition in NWA (14 countries).
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts, business partners, and top-level decision-makers.
- Identify and acquire new customers by exploring untapped markets, verticals, and product groups.
- Ensure achievement of sales targets, monitor the mid-term project pipeline, and execute strategic acquisitions.
- Track local sales KPIs and provide detailed monthly reports to the Sales Director Africa.
Additionally, you will be responsible for:
- Aligning and reporting short-/medium-term sales planning with Sales Director Africa.
- Promoting and maintaining accurate CRM data to support sales and business development activities.
- Developing after-sales opportunities, including maintenance contracts, troubleshooting support, and customer training programs in the regional training center.
- Collaborating with Business Units and Global Services to address operational challenges.
- Managing customer receivables and overseeing open payables with GS to ensure strong supplier partnerships.
- Conducting market research to analyze customer needs and competitive dynamics.
- Ensuring project specifications comply with local regulations in North West African countries.
- Representing Bosch at key industry events to promote solutions and enhance brand visibility.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in business development, sales, or industrial solutions, preferably in the boiler or energy sector.
- Strong networking and negotiation skills with the ability to engage with C-level executives.
- Excellent analytical and strategic planning abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales reporting.
- Fluency in English, French and Arabic (additional local languages are a plus).
- Willingness to travel extensively across the North and West Africa region.
