Role Overview

We are seeking an
onsite
IT Engineer & DevOps to manage our infrastructure in Casablanca. You will handle
on-premise servers (
including the administration of servers (e.g., DELL R GB DDR5), storage, and networking hardware (e.g., Aruba Ion 1830 8G 65W Switch)
)
,
cloud environments
,
GitLab administration
,
Kubernetes orchestration
,
Docker containerization
,
Jenkins CI/CD pipelines

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

This is a
full-time, onsite position
working daily with our engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Platform Management

• Install, configure, and manage
  GitLab (self-hosted)
  , including runners, backups, and upgrades.
• Manage and monitor
  on-premise servers
  (bare-metal & virtualized) and cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Deploy and operate
  Kubernetes clusters
  and containerized workloads with
  Docker
  .
• Configure
  network infrastructure
  (firewalls, VPNs, VLANs) for secure connectivity.

DevOps & CI/CD

• Build and maintain
  CI/CD pipelines
  in
  GitLab CI
  and
  Jenkins
  .
• Integrate automated testing, security scans, and compliance checks into pipelines.
• Use
  Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi)
  for automated, repeatable deployments.

Security & Compliance

• Implement
  network security best practices
  and access control (RBAC in Kubernetes, GitLab).
• Apply
  AES-256 encryption
  , TLS, and secure enclaves for sensitive data.
• Configure and administer network devices, including switches and firewalls (e.g., Fortinet FortiGate-50G Firewall).
• Ensure compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and financial industry standards.
• Implement and manage enterprise-grade security services and protocols to protect our network and data, ensuring robust
  network security
  .
• Ensure robust data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans are in place.
• Administer our Eaton Onduleur 9E 10KVA UPS.

Monitoring & Reliability

• Set up
  monitoring and alerting
  with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK stacks.
• Establish backup, disaster recovery, and failover systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues to maintain high availability.

System Administration & Support:

• Administer operating systems (Linux/Windows) and applications.
• Monitor system performance and security, responding to alerts and resolving technical issues promptly.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the engineering team.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years in IT infrastructure and DevOps roles.
• Proven
  GitLab
  installation, configuration, and management experience.
• Strong
  Kubernetes
  (cluster setup, Helm, ingress, RBAC) and
  Docker
  expertise.
• CI/CD automation using
  GitLab CI
  and
  Jenkins
  .
• Mandatory
  : Proven experience with
  Infrastructure as Code
  — Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi.
• Deep knowledge of
  network security
  (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, SSL/TLS).
• Proficient with Linux administration and scripting (Bash, Python).

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Blockchain node deployment (Ethereum, Hyperledger, Polkadot).
• Message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Hybrid cloud networking.
