As a Quality System Engineer, you'll be a key contributor in setting up the Quality Management System (QMS) during the greenfield phase of the plant. You'll drive the implementation and integration of global rolling stock quality standards (IRIS (ISO22163), ISO 9001), ensure compliance, and support process owners across departments to build a strong, audit-ready system that sets the foundation for future operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain the QMS in accordance with ISO 9001 and IRIS (ISO22163).
  • Monitor and update documentation systems; ensure all procedures are controlled and accessible.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and track corrective actions.
  • Facilitate employee training on QMS topics.
  • Propose and drive improvements in quality processes and system integration.
  • Maintain QMS-related records and contribute to management reviews and quality reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with the global Q director and support group certification efforts.

Your Profile:

  • A degree in Quality, Engineering, or related technical field.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar QMS role.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001.
  • An internal auditor certificate and knowledge of min ISO9001, IRIS is a plus.
  • Experience with document control, audits, and standards implementation.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Motivation to work in a startup/greenfield environment with evolving structures.
  • Fluent in English, Arabic and French.
