Job Title: Quality Manager
Location: Rabat Region
Reporting to: Plant Manager
Job Summary
The Quality Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating the plant's integrated quality management system. This role ensures adherence to global quality standards, drives continuous improvement, and acts as the key interface for customer quality-related matters.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and maintain the integrated quality management system, ensuring compliance with applicable standards (ISO 9001, VDA 6.1, IATF 16949, etc.).
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all quality-related production deliverables.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for customers on critical quality topics, performance metrics, and specific initiatives.
· Oversee quality audits and ensure successful plant certifications and recertifications.
· Manage supplier quality performance, including development programs, issue resolution, and corrective actions.
· Implement and enforce internal quality standards and ensure organizational compliance.
· Ensure resolution of all product quality issues using structured problem-solving methodologies.
· Define, initiate, and monitor corrective and preventive actions, ensuring timely closure and effectiveness.
· Support internal and external audits, ensuring audit readiness and effective follow-up.
· Provide cost-effective improvement proposals in quality processes and procedures.
· Lead, develop, and motivate the quality team to achieve high performance and operational excellence.
Qualifications & Skills
· Engineering degree or equivalent; specialization in Quality Management is a plus.
· Proven experience in managing quality systems in an industrial or automotive environment.
· Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA 6.1 and related quality tools (FMEA, PPAP, 8D, etc.).
· Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
· Customer-focused with strong analytical and project management capabilities.
